State's Largest Citizen Watchdog Endorses Lautenberg for Re-Election
New Jersey Citizen Action's Political Action Committee
announced today that it has endorsed Senator Frank Lautenberg for re-election
to the U.S. Senate. Founded in 1982, Citizen Action is New Jersey's
largest citizen watchdog coalition, representing more than 100 community,
labor, senior, faith-based, women, civil rights and neighborhood organizations
and 60,000 individual family members."This year the economy, access to affordable health care and the foreclosure crisis top the list of issues our members and the public at large care about," said NJCA PAC Chair Mitchell Kahn. "We are confident that Senator Lautenberg will continue to work tirelessly in Washington to fight and reverse the Bush Administration's upside down priorities and for changes that will improve the lives of our families and children during these hard economic times," he added.
Citizen Action will work to educate and mobilize voters and re-elect Frank Lautenberg to the U.S. Senate.
In May, NJCAPAC endorsed Senator Lautenberg for re-election in the Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate.
